Pronunciation of words in the English language is very important.

Learning the correct pronunciation of words does not affect the kind of accent that you are accustomed to.

It generally means that you spell out the words that are acknowledged to be correct in English.

Striving to correctly pronounce certain words in English also enhances effective communication, as people are able to decipher correctly what you mean.

Knowing the areas that need improvement when it comes to pronunciation has so many advantages such as, improving your confidence and heightening your chances of getting a job.

Additionally, they have other informal advantages like making you look more competent, intelligent and sharp.

Refining your pronunciation skills should be done in the extreme as to make you lose your unique way of talking; you must be able to preserve your quirkiness and diction that sets you apart from others.

Everyone has their own way of saying different words, what may affect their method of saying the words is either their background or what they have become accustomed to over time.

It should be noted that the more time is spent on pronouncing a word wrongly the more it can get stuck in your mind.
